3. TENETS OF FAITH, DOCTRINES, NORMS AND PRACTICES.
Tenets of Faith, Doctrines, Norms and Practices of the Church shall be in line with the Scriptures. They are as specifically outlined in the Article of Faith and Worship, which shall be an appendix of this constitution.
The motto of the church shall be:

8. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The aims and objectives of the Church shall be as follows:
a. the Youths of Cherubim and Seraphim Church, especially, students in Institutions of Higher Learning in Nigeria shall worship together in oneness of mind and purpose, with a view to making them Christ-like.
b. the Church shall spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching the fear of God, the love of God and mankind (Matt. 22:37-40), through organized Worships, Bible lectures, Symposia, Annual Conventions, Sub- Conventions, Revival Services, Publishing of Journals and related papers and other activities. It shall also spread the Unification gospel of Cherubim and Seraphim Church, to everybody in the world
c. the Church shall seek wider friendship with other Christian organizations.
d. the Church shall initiate as well as support genuine moves aimed at unifying the Cherubim and Seraphim Church the world over.
e. the Church shall seek registration with all recognized Nigeria Christian organizations and World Council of Churches and other related religious bodies.
f. the Church shall establish chapters otherwise known as fellowships in all institutions of higher learning in the Country and beyond. Whereas such Chapters/fellowships shall be directed, administered and controlled by this Constitution. However, Chapters/fellowships and any other place of worship shall adapt to peculiarities, which their environment may impose on them.
The Church shall submit to the authority of a united Cherubim and Seraphim Church if and when all the Cherubim and Seraphim Churches worldwide become united under one authority.
1. CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP
Conditions for membership are as outlined in the “Article of Faith and Worship”
2. TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP
Membership of the Church shall comprise the following:
a) Student Members
b) Graduate Members
c) Associate/Honorary Members
a) STUDENT MEMBERS
These shall be registered students of any Institutions of Higher Learning in Nigeria and beyond who by their will, interest or conviction decide to worship and fellowship with the Campus Fellowship of the Church located in that Institution.
b) GRADUATE MEMBERS
These shall be members of (a) above but who have passed through and graduated from the Institution.
c) ASSOCIATE/HONORARY MEMBERS
These shall be non-students but who by interest or will or conviction or by definite appointment or other circumstances desire to fellowship with the Church in whatever capacity.
The Church shall be administered as provided for in the articles of this Constitution and its affiliate Acts where in existence as approved by the Central Executive Council. The administrative organ shall be:
i. a. Central Executive Council (CEC)
b. Central Administration (CA)
c. Central Working Committee (CWC)
d. Steering Committee (SC)
a. Elders Forum
b. National Graduate Forum
c. Fellowship Graduate Forum
12. CENTRAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL (CEC)
The CEC shall be the highest administrative, spiritual and policy-making organ of the Church.
The CEC offices shall be eleven (11) as stated below:

d. General Secretary
e. Deputy General Secretary
f. Financial Secretary
g. Treasury Secretary
h. Publicity Secretary
i. Welfare Secretary
j. Evangelism Secretary
k. Female Coordinator
ii. FUNCTIONS AND POWER OF CEC:
a. It shall be the Governing and Co-coordinating body on all matters for and of the Church.
b. It shall give spiritual leadership to the church.
c. It shall oversee its day-to-day administration.
d. The Council shall liaise with the Graduate Forum (GF) of each Campus Fellowship as appropriate, especially in respect of the selection and approval of the Steering Committee for Campus Fellowship(s).
e. The Council shall refer all policy matters to the Central Working Committee (CWC) for notification.
f. The Council shall draw up the yearly programs of activities of the Church including those of Annual National Convention and Sub-convention.
g. The Council shall meet at least once in a month for conventional meeting and at any other time, as it deems fit.
h. A simple majority of its members shall form a quorum at every meeting.
i. The Council shall have power to reprimand, suspend or punish any erring member(s) of the Church.
j. The Council shall appoint Zonal Supervisors (ZS) for the zones in the Church and coordinate the activities of the appointment of Staff Advisers/Patrons and Patroness for each of the Campus Fellowship on the advice of the LGF.
k. The Council shall be notified of the appointment of Staff Advisers/Patrons and Patroness for each of the Campus Fellowship on the advice of the Local Graduate Forum (LGF).
l. The Council shall receive all matters of complaint and dispute from members and units of the Church for consideration.
m. The Council shall meet with the presidents of Campus Fellowship at least once in an academic session.
n. The Council shall have the power to select and constitute committees, as it deems fit especially as it relates to the performing of its duties and in the best interest of the Church. Provided that the power, functions, procedures and terms of such committees shall be as the CEC may determine.
iii. TERMS OF OFFICE OF CEC
Any office of the CEC shall be for only three (3) years but a re-nomination and selection could be made for another three (3) year term; provided that no person shall hold any office in CEC if he had already held the particular office on two (2) previous consecutive terms.
iv. SELECTIONS INTO CEC:
a. Offices of the CEC shall be opened to Graduate members who meet the criteria stated for CEC specific offices as entrenched in this constitution.
b. Selection process shall begin not later than three (3) months and not earlier than four(4) months to the expiration of the term of the existing CEC.
c. Selection shall be by the consensus of members of Elder Forum.
d. Potential CEC aspirant must obtain a bio-data form, from the secretary of Elder’s Forum stating his consent. He/She must be nominated to the Elder’s Forum for a post in the CEC.
e. There shall be an assessment on each of the nominee at the Elders’ Forum where selection shall be by consensus.
f. No fellowship shall have more than three members in CEC.
v. TRANSITIONAL ARRANGEMENT:
Elders’ Forum shall institute a 9 members Central Caretaker Committee (CCC) that shall oversee the activities of the Church where selection to the CEC does not hold within the stipulated period. The tenure of the CCC in this circumstance shall not exceed a period of 3 months. However, Elders’ Forum may grant an extension of not more than one month in effect.
The CCC duly constituted in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution shall have the powers and responsibilities of the CEC.
The removal/suspension of any member of the CEC shall be in accordance with the articles and provisions of this Constitution.
a. Any erring member of the CEC can be suspended by the two-thirds (2/3) majority member of the CEC pending the determination of his/her case by the Church.
b. Any member of the CEC who decides to leave the C & S Church shall automatically seize to be a member of the body. The position must be filled up immediately in accordance with the CEC Selection Procedure in Section 12:4 of this constitution.
vii. ELIGIBILITY INTO CEC:
For any member to be qualified for selection into CEC he/she:
a. shall be a functional graduate member of the Church who must have served at the Central Administration at least for two years where Central Administration shall mean any office or responsibility assumed at the instance of the CEC.
b. shall be a consistent financial member for at least four years preceding the year of selection.
c. must be a member of Cherubim & Seraphim Church Unification Campus Fellowship in Nigeria and beyond at least for a minimum of eight years as at the date of selection.
d. must be a person of proven integrity, particularly a Christian who is morally upright.
viii. QUALIFICATIONS AND FUNCTIONS OF CEC OFFICERS:
THE CHAIRMAN – QUALIFICATION:-
i. The Chairman shall qualify in line with the eligibility for selection into the CEC.
a. He shall be a male member of the Church.
b. He must be at least thirty-five (35) years old.
c. He must be a married man of one (1) wife only, who has control over his own house.
d. He must not be a divorcee.
e. He must have been in the Central Administration of C & S Church Unification Campus Fellowship in any capacity at least for one term.
f. Must not have been convicted/guilty of any criminal or immoral offence within or outside the Church.
g. Shall be nominated by at least two (2) members, one of which must be graduate and seconded by at least two (2) other members from (2) different Campus Fellowships of the Church, one of which must be a graduate member. No two of them shall come from the same Campus Fellowship
ii. FUNCTIONS OF THE CHAIRMAN
a. He shall be the head of the Church
b. He shall perform all spiritual and administrative functions of the Church required of a Leader.
c. He shall be the Chairman of both the CEC and the CWC
d. He shall be a signatory to the Church account(s)
e. He shall have the designation ‘The Apostolate’
iii. 1ST VICE CHAIRMAN – ELIGIBILITY:
All the qualifying criteria for the Chairman shall be applicable to the 1st Vice Chairman.
iv. FUNCTIONS OF THE 1ST VICE CHAIRMAN:
a. He shall assist the Chairman
b. He shall act on behalf of the Chairman where he is not available.
c. He shall carry out other duties as may be delegated by the CEC.
d. In case of Chairman’s suspension, removal or other reasons the 1st Vice Chairman shall act as the Chairman for a period not more than three (3) months within which the CEC must take decision.
e. He shall coordinate fellowships’ anniversaries.
f. He shall perform any other duties as may be directed by the CEC.
v. 2ND VICE CHAIRMAN – ELIGIBILITY:
All the qualifying criteria for the 1st Vice Chairman shall be applicable to the 2nd Vice chairman.
vi. FUNCTIONS OF 2ND VICE CHAIRMAN
a. He shall assist the Chairman
b. He shall act on behalf of both the Chairman and 1st Vice Chairman in their absence.
c. He shall be responsible for establishing new Campus Fellowships.
d. He shall perform any other duties given to him by the CEC.
e. He shall act for Chairman and or 1st Vice chairman due to suspension, removal or other reasons of any of the two for a period not more than three (3) months within which the CEC must take decision.
f. He shall oversee and coordinate the activities of GF of the Church and submit report of activities to the CEC quarterly.
vii. THE GENERAL SECRETARY – ELIGIBILITY
All the qualifying criteria for the 2nd Vice Chairman and the CEC shall be considered for the General Secretary except that he must not be less than 30 years of age.
viii. FUNCTIONS OF THE GENERAL SECRETARY:
a. Shall be the Administrative Head of the Church Secretariat.
b. He shall see to the day-to-day running of the Secretariat.
c. He shall receive and send all correspondence of Church under the authority of the CEC.
d. He shall be the Secretary of the CEC.
e. He shall select other members of the Secretariat who shall work with him with the approval of the CEC.
f. He shall call meetings of the CEC on the directive of the Chairman or at the request of at least one third 1/3 members of the CEC.
g. He shall make announcements that affect the Church in General on the authority of the CEC.
h. He shall be a signatory to the Church account(s).
ix THE DEPUTY GENERAL SECRETARY – ELIGIBILITY:
Shall qualify according to the eligibility of the General Secretary.
x. FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPUTY GENERAL SECRETARY:
a. He shall assist the General Secretary in the day-to-day running of the Secretariat
b. He shall act on behalf of the General Secretary whenever the General Secretary is not available.
c. He shall act as the General Secretary in the wake of removal, expulsion, suspension or resignation of the General Secretary not more than three (3) months within which the CEC shall take a decision.
d. He shall be responsible for the supervision of the committees set up by the Secretariat.
e. He shall take record of proceedings of all ad hoc meetings of the CEC.
xi. THE FINANCIAL SECRETARY – ELIGIBILITY:
Shall qualify according to the eligibilities of the Deputy General Secretary except that female member is eligible. He/she must not be less than twenty-eight (28) years.
xii. FUNCTIONS OF THE FINANCIAL SECRETARY:
a. He/she shall be responsible for the collection of all monies and financial/obligations due to the Church at the Central level.
b. He/she shall transfer all such monies/financial instruments obligations to the Treasurer not later than forty-eight (48) hours after collection.
c. He/she shall keep a clear and correct record of financial position of the church and shall present such record for inspection or discussion to the CEC at any of its sittings or on request by the auditor of the Church and or CEC.
d. he/she shall be the Head of finance committee.
e. He/she shall carry out any functions as may be directed by the CEC.
xiii. TREASURY SECRETARY – ELIGIBILITY:
He/she shall qualify according to the eligibilities of the Financial Secretary.
xiv. FUNCTIONS OF TREASURY SECRETARY
a. Shall be a signatory to the Church account(s)
b. Shall receive all the monies from the Financial Secretary and shall lodge same into the Church designated bank account(s) within seventy two (72) hours of receipt.
c. Shall present the Church financial statements to the CEC at regular interval of at least once in six months or as may be requested by the CEC or the auditor of the Church.
d. Shall perform any other functions as may be assigned by the CEC.
xv. THE PUBLICITY SECRETARY – ELIGIBILITY:
Shall quality according to the eligibilities of the Financial Secretary.
xvi. FUNCTIONS OF THE PUBLICITY SECRETARY:-
a. Shall be the Public Relations Officer of the Church.
b. Shall always Project the Positive image of the Church to the World.
c. Shall be in charge of all Church Publications.
d. He shall be the Head of publicity committee.
e. Shall perform any other functions assigned him/her by the CEC.
xvii. WELFARE SECRETARY – ELIGIBILITY:
He/she shall qualify according to the eligibilities of Financial Secretary.
xviii. FUNCTIONS OF THE WELFARE SECRETARY:
a. Shall be responsible for matters relating to the general welfare of members.
b. Shall be the Head of the Church welfare committee.
c. Shall be responsible for the welfare of the Church’s guests at all times.
xix. EVANGELISM SECRETARY – ELIGIBILITY:
He/she shall qualify according to the eligibilities of Welfare Secretary.
xx. FUNCTIONS OF EVANGELISM SECRETARY:
a. He/she shall be in charge of Evangelism Programme / Activities of the Church.
b. He/she must have zeal for evangelism
c. He shall coordinate bible study program, sermon topics and bible readings.
d. He shall perform any other function assigned to him/her by the CEC.
xxi. FEMALE COORDINATOR- ELIGIBILITY
She shall qualify according to the eligibility of Evangelism Secretary except that she shall be a female.
xxii. FUNCTIONS OF FEMALE COORDINATOR
a. She shall oversee the activities of female members on the advice of the CEC.
b. She shall recommend edifying programmes for the spiritual development of female members to CEC.
c. She shall render advice to the CEC on matters relating to female members of the church.
d. She shall perform any other function assigned to her by the CEC.
A simple majority of members, including the Chairman or Vice Chairman and the Secretary shall form the quorum at all meetings.
14. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
1. The annual General meeting shall be the supreme body of the Ministry
2. The Annual General meeting shall be held at a time and a place to be fixed by the Central Executive Council
3. The agenda for the Annual general Meeting shall be prepared by the Secretary
4. Each Executive shall present a report to the Annual General Meeting
15. CENTRAL WORKING COMMITTEE (CWC).
Shall comprise all the members of Central Executive Council, Central Administration Members, Graduate members, State Coordinators, Zonal Supervisors, Assistant Zonal Supervisors, President, Vice President or Secretary of each constituent Campus Fellowship.
ii. FUNCTIONS, POWERS AND PROCEDURES OF THE CWC.
a. The Chairman of the CEC shall be the Chairman of the CWC and shall preside over its meetings.
b. The Secretary of the CWC shall be selected outside the CEC but within the CWC in accordance with the provisions of this constitution.
c. Shall meet at least twice in a year.
d. A quorum for every meeting shall be formed by one half (1/2) of the membership of the CWC.
e. Resolution shall be by two-third (2/3) majority of members present and voting at any meeting.
f. Shall have power to adopt its rules of procedures.
g. Members who cease to be members of the C & S Church shall cease to be in CWC.
h. Shall refer all issues of interest to the CEC for ratification.
i. Shall submit and be responsible to the CEC.
j. Shall discuss the progress of the Church
Removal or suspension of any erring member of the church shall be determined by the CEC in accordance with the provisions of this constitution in Section 12 : 4.
16. OFFICERS OF THE CENTRAL WORKING COMMITTEE (CWC)
There shall be secretary to the CWC. He shall be assisted by two or more members who may or may not be members of the CWC. Their appointment/selection and removal shall be with the approval of the CEC.
i. TERMS OF OFFICE – SECRETARY TO CWC
The tenure of office of the Secretary to the CWC shall be for a period of 3years. Re-nomination and selection could be allowed for another 3 years that no person shall be nominated and selected for this office if he had already held the same on two(2) previous occasions consecutively.
ii. SECRETARY TO CWC – ELIGIBILITY/SELECTION
a. Shall be a member of CWC and shall qualify in line with the eligibility criteria of the Financial Secretary CEC as provided in the relevant section of this constitution.
b. Mode of selection of the Secretary to the CWC shall be determined by CWC.
iii. FUNCTIONS OF CWC SECRETARY
a. Shall be the Head of the Secretariat of the CWC at any of its meeting.
b. Shall implement the agenda drafted by the CEC at any of its meeting.
c. Shall perform such other related duties that may be assigned by the CEC.
iv. FUNCTION OF ASST. CWC SECRETARY
a. Shall assist the secretary of the CWC.
b. Shall perform any other duties that may be assigned by the CEC.
17. ELDERS’ FORUM
There shall be Elders’ Forum, which shall comprise elders of the Church who had occupied leadership positions in the Church.
It is mandatory for all members of the Elders Forum to be a financial member.
The Elders Forum shall have the following as members:
a. All past members of CEC
b. All members of the current CEC.
c. The serving Chairmen of registered graduate fora.
d. Any member who ceases to be a member of C&S Church automatically ceases to be a member.
ii. ADMINISTRATION OF ELDERS FORUM
a. Its meeting shall be presided over by the first Chairmen or the most senior chairman of C.E.C.
b. The Secretary of the National Graduate Forum shall be its secretary.
FUNCTIONS OF ELDERS FORUM
a. It shall meet at least once a year to consider the activities of the church with the view to making appropriate recommendations and advice to the CEC.
b. It shall select and present members of newly selected CEC to CWC for notification
c. It shall carry out any other responsibilities and duties as provided for in this constitution.
d. It shall be subject to the same rules, regulations and disciplinary procedures and enjoy the same privileges as other bodies of the church.
f. It shall be one of the major financiers of the church.
g. The secretary of the Forum under the authority of the Chairman of Elders forum, and or CEC Chairman shall convene meeting of the Elders Forum.
18. CENTRAL ADMINISTRATION
There shall be a Central Administration whose membership shall comprise CEC, State Coordinators, Zonal Supervisors, Asst. Zonal Supervisors, Central Committee members and other Central appointees of the CEC and any other invited members.
It shall meet bi-monthly and any other time as may be appropriate.
a. FUNCTIONS OF CENTRAL ADMINISTRATION
a. It shall be the operational arm of the C.E.C
b. It shall support the CEC on the day-to-day running of the church.
c. It shall give financial support to the Church and the CEC.
d. It shall consider the policy decisions of the CEC.
e. It shall discuss the progress of the Church
f. It shall perform advisory role to the CEC.
g. It shall represent the CEC at the Campus Fellowship
h. It shall perform any other functions that may be assigned by the CEC.
19. THE NATIONAL ADVISER
There shall be national adviser(s) for the Church. He shall be appointed by the CEC.
FUNCTIONS OF NATIONAL ADVISER
a. He shall perform advisory functions to the Church and be regarded as the Church Elder.
b. His view shall be sought for guidance on matters affecting the Church as at when necessary.
c. He shall give spiritual and financial assistance to the Church.
i. APPLICATION OF FUNDS
The fund of the church shall be applied to only the approved programs and activities of the church WHEREAS such application shall be appropriately approved and accurately recorded in the books of account of the church for presentation to the church as at and when requested in accordance with the provision of this constitution to the appropriate groups of the church.
ii. BANK ACCOUNT
a. The church shall operate current and savings bank account to be determined by the CEC.
b. The signatories to the accounts shall be Chairman, General Secretary and Treasury Secretary of the CEC.
There shall be an auditor who shall be appointed at the general meeting to audit the account of the fellowship
At the instance of the CEC, campus fellowship within the same geographical location shall be referred to as a Zone.
i. ADMINISTRATION OF ZONES
a. State Coordination
b. Zonal Supervision
c. Zonal Campus Fellowship
ii. STATE COORDINATORS
a. There shall be state coordinator for each of the state where there are established fellowships of the church.
b. The state coordinator shall be appointed by the CEC to administer the activities of zonal supervisors within a state as provided in this constitution.
c. He shall brief the CEC periodically on the state of the church within his/her state.
d. He shall attend central Administration meeting.
iii. ZONAL SUPERVISORS (ZS).
a. There shall be zonal supervisors (ZS) appointed for each zone in the church in accordance with the provisions of this constitution.
b. Criteria for the appointment of the zonal supervisor shall be determined by the CEC.
c. The zones shall be created by the CEC and the ZS shall qualify in line with the qualification criteria of the Financial Secretary of the CEC.
d. The ZS shall prepare periodic report through his state coordinator to the CEC on the state of campus fellowship within his zone.
e. The ZS shall perform duties as may be assigned to him by the state coordinator and or CEC.
f. The ZS shall meet with the state coordinator, CEC SC members of zone and other members of his/her zone as situations so demand.
g. The CEC shall summon any ZS for a meeting, consultation, or questioning whenever it deems it fit.
h. Reappointment/Removal of ZS shall be subject to a review by the CEC.
i. ZS shall assume the duties of the CEC at campus fellowship level in the absence of the CEC members if state coordinators are not present.
iv. ZONAL CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP:
a. Campus fellowship, which are grouped together and classified as zones by the CEC, shall remain as zones unless otherwise stated.
b. Campus Fellowship under zone shall strive to lift each other up in the area of assistance, spiritual and any other areas of needs.
c. Presidents or other SC members of the same zone shall meet periodically with the zonal supervisor.
21. CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP’S ADMINISTRATION:
Each campus fellowship shall have its own Steering Committee (SC) whose membership shall include the:-

Nominee into any of the offices of the SC must be:
a. a Christian member of exemplary character and a bonafide student of the institution in which the campus fellowship is located.
b. a registered member of the campus fellowship, who attends church service regularly, operates a tithe card with the campus fellowship and abides with the beliefs and doctrines of Cherubim and Seraphim church as provided for in this Constitution.
c. of special ability to coordinate leadership role with academics and must have actively and regularly participated in the Campus fellowships’ activities for a period not less than one year before his nomination.
d. either male or female members who can take up any position in the committee except those of the President, Vice president and the Secretary. Which are strictly reserved for male members.
iii. MODE OF CONSTITUTING THE STEERING COMMITTEE:
Selection into the SC shall be by nomination of candidates for each post by the current SC members. There shall then be spiritual screening and balloting to be conducted by the campus fellowships’ Graduate Forum (LGF) with the Zonal Supervisor (ZS) presiding. Whereas ‘spiritual’ shall be by fasting and prayer. However, it shall be the responsibility of the Central Executive Council (CEC) under spiritual guidance, to appoint the first President, Vice president and the Secretary in a newly established campus fellowship.
iv. STEERING COMMITTEES’S FUNCTIONS, POWER AND PROCEDURES:
a. It shall be responsible for the running of the fellowship
b. It shall be responsible to the CEC
c. It shall carry out all directives passed by the CEC and shall liaise with the CEC on all matters affecting the church.
d. Shall appoint Audit Sub-Committee whose audit report(s) shall be submitted to it once every semester.
e. It shall examine the chapters’ statement of account
f. The committee shall also deliberate on any matter referred to it by the President and shall implement all directives passed to it by the CEC.
g. The committee shall meet at least once a month and as may be necessary
h. The committee shall be responsible for the spiritual and general welfare of the campus fellowship.
22. FUNCTIONS OF SC MEMBERS:
The president shall perform under listed functions and any others as may be directed by the CEC.
a. He shall coordinate all the activities of the campus fellowship
b. He shall be responsible for the day to day running of the campus fellowship
c. He shall be responsible to the CEC
d. He shall be a member of the Central Working Committee (CWC)
e. He shall be the Chairman of his campus fellowships SC
f. He shall be a signatory to the Campus fellowships’ account(s)
g. He shall be the head of the campus fellowships’ prophetic ministry
h. He shall say the grace except where CEC members, Elders Forum or Central Administration members are in attendance at any of the Campus fellowships’ prayer sessions/activities.
i. He shall delegate responsibilities to other members of the Campus fellowship where appropriate.
j. He shall be the accounting officers and therefore shall present full report of the campus fellowship including financial statement to the CEC.
k. He shall prepare the programs of the church in conjunction with the SC.
11. VICE PRESIDENT
The Vice President shall perform the following functions and others as may be directed by the campus fellowship.
a. He shall assist the president and act in proxy for him.
b. he may be a member of the Central Working Committee (CWC)
c. He shall be a member of campus fellowships’ prayer committee and prophetic ministry.
d. He shall coordinate the activities of the bands in the fellowship
The Secretary shall perform these functions and any other as may be directed:
a. He shall record all minutes of his campus fellowship’s SC meetings.
b. He shall be responsible for the making of the campus fellowship’s programs and receive correspondence on behalf of the campus fellowship.
c. He shall also convey summon SC’s meetings at the directive of the President or at the request of 2/3 majority members of SC, where the president fails to call a meeting.
d. He shall head and coordinate all the activities at the campus fellowship’s secretariat
e. He shall be a signatory to the chapters’ account(s)
f. He may be a member of the Central Working Committee (CWC)
g. He shall be a member of the campus fellowship’s prayer group and the Prophetic Ministry.
IV. ASSISTANT SECRETARY:
The Assistant Secretary shall perform these functions and any other as may be directed by the SC.
a. He/she shall assist the Secretary in the discharge of his duties.
b. He/she shall perform any other duty as may direct by the SC.
V. PUBLICITY SECRETARY:
The Publicity Secretary performs these functions and any other as may be directed by the SC.
a. He/she shall be responsible for handling of all publicity matters of the campus fellowship.
b. He/she shall be responsible for the production and circulation of printed materials (publications) as may be required within the campus fellowship, with the assistance of the Campus fellowship’s Secretariat.
c. He shall serve as a link between the campus fellowship and the publics.
VI. FINANCIAL SECRETARY:
The Financial Secretary shall perform these functions and any other as may be directed by the SC.
a. He/she shall be responsible for the collection of all monies coming into the Campus fellowship’s account(s), provided that he/she shall not be involved in the collection of monies going directly into Bands’ purse or Sub-committee.
b. He/she shall pass such monies to the Treasurer not later than forty-eight (48) hours after such collection.
c. He/she shall submit records of monies coming in and out of his office to the SC, the Auditor(s) and /or the president monthly and/or demand by at least simple majority members of the church.
VII. TREASURY SECRETARY:
The Treasurer shall perform these functions and any other as may be directed by the SC.
a. He shall receive all monies coming into the Campus fellowship as submitted to him by the Financial Secretary.
b. He shall lodge into the Campus fellowship’s account(s) at the designated bank(s), all such monies within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt. He shall keep an imprest not exceeding Five Thousand naira (5,000.00) only at a point in time.
c. He shall be a signatory to the Campus fellowship’s account(s).
d. He shall submit the Campus fellowship’s account(s) as kept by him to the SC, the Auditor(s) and /or the President at least once in a semester and/or on demand by at least simple majority members of the church.
VIII. WELFARE SECRETARY:
The Welfare Officer shall perform these functions and any other as may be directed.
a. He shall be responsible for matters relating to the general welfare and ensure comfort of the church members within available resources of the Campus Fellowship.
b. He/she shall be the Chairman of the Campus Fellowship’s Welfare Committee.
c. He shall be responsible for the welfare of the Campus Fellowship guests at all times.
IX. FEMALE COORDINATOR:
The Female Coordinator shall perform the following functions and any other as May be directed by the SC.
a. She shall be primarily responsible for the general coordination and well being of the female members.
b. She shall render advice to the SC on matters relating to female members of the campus fellowship.
c. She shall recommend edifying programs for the spiritual development of female to the SC for consideration.
X. PRAYER MINISTRY LEADER:
a. He shall be the head of prayer ministry of the church.
b. He shall perform other functions assigned him by the steering committee.
a. He/she shall be the head of the choir of the Church
b. He/she shall organize the choir for church programs
c. He/she shall perform any other functions assigned him/her by the Steering Committee.
XII. LEVITE LEADER:
a. He shall be responsible for orderliness during church services
b. He shall be the head of the campus fellowship Levites
c. He shall prepare the church for services
d. He shall be responsible for the safe keeping of church & worship materials.
XIII. EVANGELISM SECRETARY:
a. He/she shall coordinate bible study programme, sermon topics and Bible reading of the Fellowship.
b. He/she shall be in charge of Evangelism programmes / activities
c. He/she shall perform any other functions assigned to him/her by the Steering Committee.
I. FORMATION OF BANDS:
As the population of the Campus fellowship grows, the fellowship is at liberty to form or establish groups otherwise known as “bands” as herein indicated.
Unless it is otherwise stated, there shall be only two (2) categories of bands in a fellowship namely:
a. RESTRICTED BANDS (5 ministries)
b. GENERAL BANDS
II. RESTRICTED BAND (5 Ministries)
a. Unlike the General bands, membership of Restricted bands shall depend on individual spiritual endowment and talents.
b. A member of the Restricted Bands shall be required to belong to any of the General Bands.
c. The following bands shall be created for spiritual development of members and shall be called the Restricted Bands of the Church.
1. Prophetic Ministry
2. The Choir
3. Levite Ministry
4. Prayer Ministry
5. Evangelical Ministry
Secretary shall be appointed by SC among members for all Bands.
III. GENERAL BANDS
The following shall be called the general Bands of the Church.
MALE: 1. Grace Band
2. Joseph Band
3. King David Band
4. Peter Band
FEMALE: 1. Dorcas Band
2. Mary Band
3. Queen Esther Band
4. Ruth Band
IV. BAND OFFICIALS:
a. It shall be the responsibility of the SC to appoint/select the president of the band while members shall appoint/select other officers of the band.
b. All the Band Officers shall hold office for a term of one (1) academic session after which he/she may be re-appointed, provided that no individual shall hold a particular office for more than two (2) terms.
c. No individual Band member shall be officers in two (2) bands at any particular time or period.
d. Any officer(s) who performs below expectation may be removed by SC.
e. No individual Band shall operate Band account(s) on its own. The Bands are required to open account(s) with the Campus Fellowship’s Financial Secretary who shall hold such monies in trust for the Bands but a Band will keep an imprest to be determined by the SC.
f. No Band(s) shall deal directly with other Campus Fellowship(s) and or church(es)except through the Campus Fellowship’s Secretariat.
g. Any member who holds certain post in band shall cease to be a member of the official of such band the moment he/she becomes a member of the SC in case of general bands.
Each Chapter shall operate either or both of the following accounts at a bank or banks to be specified by the Steering Committee SC of the Church.
a. Savings Account
b. Current Account
The following shall be the signatories to the account(s) and any two (2) of them can duly sign the campus fellowship’s cheque provided that the President shall be one of the two.

24. GRADUATE FORUM
There shall be a National Graduate Forum (NGF) whose headquarters shall be in Lagos. Each Campus fellowship shall have its own Local Graduate Forum (LGF). There shall be a secretary to the National Graduate Forum who shall hold office for two(2) year, which is renewable for another two(2) year.
II. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Graduates Forum (GF) of the church shall:
a. Facilitate the spiritual growth of members
b. Enable graduate members to continue to identify with the goals and aspirations of the church and their campus fellowship.
c. Facilitate meaningful interactions between graduate members and student members of each campus fellowship thereby enhancing the continual existence and growth of the campus fellowship.
d. Be a forum for disseminating information within and about the church to the outside world especially the mother churches.
III. FUNCTIONS OF NATIONAL GRADUATE FORUM:
The National Graduate Forum shall be an auxiliary administrative organ at the center. It shall consist of all graduate members of the Church and as congress in conjunction with President of Campus Fellowship. All its decisions shall be subject to the approval of the CEC.
IV. NATIONAL GRADUATE FORUM SECRETARY – FUNCTIONS
a. He/she shall compile the list of all registered LGF.
b. He/she shall update the list from time to time
c. He/she shall see to the successful hosting of annual N.G.F.
d. He/she shall carry out other functions assigned to him/her by the CEC
e. He/she shall be the Secretary of Elders’ Forum
V. LOCAL GRADUATE FORUM (LGF)
Each fellowship shall have its own Graduate Forum referred to as Local Graduate Forum (LGF) which shall be registered with the Secretary of National Graduate Forum.
Membership shall be opened to all graduates of the Campus Fellowship of C & S Church a.k.a UNIFICATION, Institutions of Higher Learning in Nigeria.
LOCAL GRADUATE FORUM – OFFICES
LGF shall have the following offices whose term shall be for a period of three (3) years renewable not more than once consecutively.
* Vice Chairman
* Asst. Secretary
* Publicity Secretary
* Treasury Secretary
* Financial Secretary
* Welfare Secretary
IV. FUNCTIONS OF THE LOCAL GRADUATE FORUM:
a. It shall meet periodically as may be decided by members of such forum
b. It shall assist the campus fellowship in areas of spiritual, financial and moral needs.
c. It shall deliberate on current and emergent issues as it affects their local campus fellowship and the church.
d. It shall elect their officers
24. MODE OF ADMISSION OF NEW CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP
a. Any campus fellowship(s) wishing to join the church must be Cherubim and Seraphim by doctrine and practice.
b. It must be a campus fellowship operating in Institution of Higher Learning in Nigeria.
c. Shall be subject to spiritual advice by CEC.
d. Shall abide by the Constitution of the Church.
25. MODE OF ESTABLISHING A NEW CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP:
The Church shall aspire to establish Campus fellowships in all Institutions of Higher Learning in Nigeria through the CEC.
Any Cherubim and Seraphim Church in any Institution of Higher Learning not established by the Church but which seeks to affiliate to it, is to be considered for such by the CENTRAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL (CEC) and where accepted shall be bound by the letters of this Constitution.
1. The Trustees of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church Unification Campus Fellowship shall for the purpose of Company and Allied Matters Act, be appointed at general meeting by 2/3 majority votes of members present.
2. The Trustees of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church Unification Campus Fellowship shall be ten (10) in number and shall be known as THE REGISTERED TRUSTEES OF CHERUBIM AND SERAPHIM CHURCH UNIFICATION CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP
3. A Trustee may hold office for life but shall cease to hold office if he:
i. Resigns his office
ii. Ceases to be a member of the REGISTERED TRUSTEES OF CHERUBIM AND SERAPHIM CHURCH UNIFICATION CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP or renounces his faith in Jesus Christ as the begotten Son of God or the Bible as the Word of God
iii. Is officially declared bankrupt
iv. Is convicted by a court of competent jurisdiction of a criminal offence involving dishonesty
v. Is recommended for removal by majority vote of the REGISTERED TRUSTEES OF CHERUBIM AND SERAPHIM CHURCH UNIFICATION CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP present and voting at a meeting duly held in strict compliance with the provision of these regulations as to meetings, and is so removed by the general meeting
4. Upon a vacancy occurring in the number of Trustees, another member of the CHERUBIM AND SERAPHIM CHURCH UNIFICATION CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP shall be appointed by a resolution passed by a simple majority of its members at a general meeting to fill such vacancy
5. The Trustees shall apply in a prescribed manner to the Corporate Affairs Commission for the registration of the CHERUBIM AND SERAPHIM CHURCH UNIFICATION CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP under the Companies and Allied Matters Act, No. 1 of 1990, Part C subject to such condition as the Commission may impose.
27. COMMON SEAL
1. The CHERUBIM AND SERAPHIM CHURCH UNIFICATION CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP shall have a common seal
2. CHERUBIM AND SERAPHIM CHURCH UNIFICATION CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP’s common seal shall be kept in the custody of the secretary who shall produce it whenever it is required
3. All documents required to be signed or executed by the Trustees shall be signed by the Chairman, Board of Trustees and secretary or any other Trustee and sealed with the common seal of the CHERUBIM AND SERAPHIM CHURCH UNIFICATION CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP
28. AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION:
Amendment of this constitution shall be by simple majority of votes of members at general meeting and such amendment shall be approved by the Corporate Affairs Commission
