One cannot be amazed if all that some people can see today in the rear-view mirror of the year 2020 hindsight are COVID 19 Pandemics, EndSARs crisis, lockdown, economic degradation because the health and socio-economic vices took over most part of the notorious year. As a matter of fact, individuals, families, churches, businesses, and governments worldwide were impacted by the Global Pandemics.
Notwithstanding, keen attention on the past vis a vis the grace of God that enabled us overcome the whole challenges in the year 2020 will give us an insight to appreciate the God that sees us through always. Thence, we can say, This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24…
Please, let us also rejoice in the Lord in anticipation of goodness and blessing awaiting us in the year 2021. The Scripture says in Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you (His people), declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. I am not saying that 2021 will still not hold many situations that will require us to look up to God for help. That is why you are advised to;
‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and learn not on your own Understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make Your paths straight. Prov 3: 5-6. Thus, trust Him in all your ways and dealings in the new year.
I cannot but remind us about our National Programmes for year 2021 like Annual International Convention slated from Monday, 26th April to Sunday, 2nd December, 2021, Leadership Summit on 30th September/1st October, 2021 and Annual International Sub-Convention taking place from Thursday, 2nd to Sunday, 5th May, 2021 together with Chapters Anniversaries. This year Sub-Convention will experience anointing of new CEC members. Please, let us commit all these and other activities at Chapters and the central to prayer.
Brethren, the beginning of a new year is the perfect time to look forward to new beginnings and this time, more than ever, the hope is that 2021 will bring good luck, good health and prosperity to you and all that are yours. Happy New Year.
