NEW MONTH (MARCH, 2023) GREETINGS FROM THE DESK OF APOSTOLATE/ CHAIRMAN CENTRAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL OF CHERUBIM AND SERAPHIM CHURCH UNIFICATION CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP Calvary greetings to all Unificationists and all Christian Brethren, home and abroad, in the new month of March, 2023 in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I, on behalf of Central Executive Council (CEC), wish to welcome you to the new month which is destined to mark the commencement of greater things to you and your family and mark new hope in the annals of politico-economic rekindling and redemption of our country, Nigeria. Brethren, kindly note that it is not over yet as we need to continue our prayer for the nation. We should pray that the candidate declared winner should reign; that 1993 crisis should not repeat itself in Nigeria in any disguise and that Nigeria should not experience any bloodshed during and after the election. Further to the above, everyone is encouraged to exercise his/her civic responsibility by making sure he/she votes responsibly. However, we should all consciously and intentionally shun any form of political thuggery or being agent of crisis. It is interesting to be informed that the church started the new year with the Central Executive Council Annual Retreat held from Friday, 3rd to Sunday, 5th February, 2023 at Foursquare International Conference Centre, Idimu, Lagos. The retreat focus, among other things, on the three pillars of the Church; Evangelism. Intercessory & Prophetic Ministry and development of our site. Hence, chapters are expected to organize strong evangelism outreach at least twice in a session and these will involve one on one, revival , crusade or/and tract distribution. Details on this shall be revealed in the policy document to be released by the Church. Likewise, the intercessory prayers should be intensified at chapters’ levels. The cooperation of all graduates and undergraduates is sought in actualizing the development of our site. The retreat shall be extended to our regions, so we should be ready to participate. It is not ordinary that the whole of the new month is a lent period which is designated for personal spiritual refreshment together with fasting and prayer. Kindly be admonished to abhor, now and always, ungodliness (Isaiah 58 vs 3-7) and add daily study and meditation of the scripture together with fervent prayer to our fasting. I really hope you let go of your burdens, sorrows and begin a fresh chapter of your life filled with peace, love, and everything nice and bright in the new month. We should not forget to also add the act of pakikipagkapwa-tao. We should start to prepare spiritually with payer and physically with reference to finance for our forthcoming year 2023 Annual International Convention tagged ‘’Shalom 2023’’ and themed ‘The Prince of Peace’ slated for Monday, 1st to Sunday, 7th, May, 2023 at Wasimi, along Ibadan-Ife Road, Osun State, Nigeria. Please, be reminded that the church slogan is; Unification! …… One Family (Isokan! … Ebi kan). There is need to adopt same slogan in order to conform to our culture of unification. Brethren, it is a new month with all newness of the Lord; I pray that every step we take be surrounded by beauty, favor, blessing and success. Happy new month!
