John And Jesus in The Book of Malachi
Cherubim and Seraphim Church Unification Campus Fellowship A Daily Scripture Exposition. Thursday , August 18, 2022 Malachi 3:1NLT “Look! I am sending my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. Then the Lord you are seeking will suddenly come to his Temple. The messenger of the covenant, whom you look for so eagerly, is surely coming,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. John And Jesus in The Book of Malachi A careful examination of today's referenced scripture reveals a profound and timeless insight. First, it talked about the messenger, whose primary responsibility was to prepare the way. Without a doubt, that messenger was John the Baptizer. The second is the Lord Jesus. The scripture says that the LORD will suddenly come to HIS Temple. And this scripture came to pass when Jesus was taken to the Temple after eight days, and both Anna and Simeon never expected HIS arrival. Beloved, since God did not fail to bring HIS promises to pass in the lives of the Israelites, you can be rest assured that HIS promises for your life would come to fruition. Indeed, there were 400 years between when the promise was made (Malachi) and fulfilled (Matthew). So if the divine promise seems delayed, it would not tarry and would surely come to pass. Prayer Heavenly Father, You are God and not a man that reneges on his plans at will. I glorify YOU because, at the appointed time, YOU will bring to pass YOUR word in my life. In Jesus's name. Amen.
